Oh the possibilities...

So I just got off the phone with Caterham, and apparently mine is going to be one of the first cars finished... woohoo! Oh wait, it could be delivered to a pile of dirt on the 12th... no shed!! I better figure out a way to get that shed built ASAP, so I can be one of the first people to get their kits delivered.

Well, that's all the excitement for today that I know of... Maybe some more tonight...

Today isn't yesterday? So what's tomorrow?

Seems like I'm a day behind all of a sudden. Somehow I've managed it, either way. Yesterday I spent the day cleaning my soon-to-be room, getting old pieces of wood and things out, getting it ready for some serious work.

But, seems like that was all for nothing, since my uncle hasn't turned up yet with the bits needed to do anything to the room today. Oh well, I'll find something to consume my time with. I actually just had a thought of what I could do... but no longer remember. Maybe he's just stuck in traffic, I suppose we'll see later on today.

.... Ahhhh yes, I need to call Caterham. Honestly, if my head wasn't stuck on, I'd lose it.

Yesteday, because today hasn't happened

Yesterday I spent the morning helping out in my grandmas garden. 4 or 5 days of work for her, was 1-2 hours of work for me, so she was happy to have me working :). After that I went on the longest bike ride I've been on in over 7 years... it was long, and seriously painful. But, it was good fun nonetheless.

Today seriously IS the day for clearing upstairs. My uncle arrives tomorrow, so no option to do otherwise. It wont be hard though, it's just moving piles of wood and tools from one room to another. I will also call Caterham to sort the last few bits out.

Today, tomorrow, sometime...

Well, today I actually did something! I helped out my aunt and uncle by mowing their yard, something they apparently needed done for some time. But, the grass is now short, and ready to... grow... againg, then be cut... again... Why oh why do people have grass?

Tomorrow will be some picture taking, and clearing of my soon to be half way to almost half complete room. Wednesday it'll be vacuumed, and a bed placed in it. After that, sometime I'll need to get the oil out, and oil the floor, and also plaster the walls... lots to do, lots (ish) time to do it. At least, not so little time it needs to be rushed.

Yesterday/today, some day, who knows?

After my post yesterday, I went into Didcot to get a sim card, but my phone needs unlocking, so need to sort that out somehow... Adrik might know a thing or two. Maybe just find one cheaply on ebay or something.

Today is another slow day, although I'm awake earlier. Today should be just cleaning and sorting, helping in the garden, and moving some things to make getting around a bit easier for her.

BTW, Elderflower cordial = the best thing EVER!

First day

Well, with the first day here, I slept until 1, completely unaware that it was in fact, 1pm... with the cloud layer, 1pm out the window looks exactly the same as 6am out the window. Oh well, lunch soon, then maybe a trip into Didcot, we'll see. I've got some tidying and things todo before my uncle returns on Wednesday, gotta get my room ready :-).

aaannnndddd it's raining... :-D. Just might have to get use to that.

Landed!

Landed at LHR today at 1:30. Very tired, long but short and uneventful flight. Many things got done when we arrived at my Grandmas, including tea and yummy cupcakes, cakes, and all sorts of fresh cooked goodies (the cupcakes were still warm :-D).

Leaving on a jet plane

I don't know when I'll be back again.... no, really, I don't :-D.

Well, in four hours time, I'll be on my way to the airport. It's crazy to think that I wont be at home, considering I've never been away for more than a week or so. It will be an odd, but all around good thing. At least my grandma is looking forward to having me live with her. I'm she'll be thrilled to have a helping hand around the house.

Boarding pass is printed, it's official, I'm checked in for my flight!

2 days...

Wow, is all I have to say. It's getting close, really close, all I know is I'm getting a little nervous!

Today I got a letter saying to send my final balance, so I guess that means the car is getting really close to being ready to go :D. Well, close to being ready to DELIVER, it'll be ready to go once I've built it :P.

May have to call tonight, and see when the possible delivery date is.

So very exciting!!
